    Great bow, but...

    Pros:Sound quality is excellent.It is well balanced.It's a bit tip-heavy (I like that in a bow)Cons:The bow's warped. (Hence why it is so cheap)It's a bit tip-heavy (some people don't like that)Summary:It's a pernambuco bow. It is very good. The thing with pernambuco is that it will warp over time. So, either way, your bow will warp. You're getting a 300 dollar bow for 80 dollars because of a physical flaw, that happens anyway. As an advanced cellist myself, I tell you that it sounds like a 300 dollar bow. It'll blow away anything in the 80-120 dollar price range, if you can get past the warp. It is a great deal, I would HIGHLY recommend it.EDIT: The bow hair comes off very easily. I don't mean breaking. I mean coming out of the mortise on the tip itself. The wedge seems a bit small for the mortise, but I'm not a complete expert on bows.
