  This case is lightweight and compact, is nice to look at, and seems well made. The violin and bow fit very snugly, but there is no extra room for maneuvering either item. Most important, there is no room inside the case for a shoulder rest (which is what I had expected) and will have to go in the outside pocket, which is not designed for the bulge of a shoulder rest.   Great case for the price

  It would be difficult to beat this violin case for the price - or even close to the price. VERY lightweight and perfect for transporting a student/rental violin. Much lighter than the standard rental case. As another reviewer mentioned, space is tight (allowing for the small size). You might not be able to fit your shoulder rest in this case.This is a "value" case, and fills that niche nicely. I would recommend it to anyone for that purpose.   Nice, but too small!

  This is a nice looking case. The quality looks good for the price. However, the case is too small for a full size violin. I had to really shove to get my violin down in the case(even at a tilt).   This case has a hygrometer, suspension, two bow holders, a tube for spare strings, an inside compartment, an outside pocket for music, a velcro strap for securing the neck, two detachable shoulder straps (and d-rings on the outside to clip them to), a velcro closure that goes over the outer zipper, and a blanket (that I keep forgetting to put back in the case). At first glance, the music pocket didn't look that big, and it doesn't run the entire length of the case, but I can actually fit my Suzuki book, my Wohlfhart etudes, and my scales book all in it quite comfortably. My file folder of sheet music is a little wider than those are, so it's more of a squeeze to get in, but I can make it.The reason I elaborate on the features is that the product description didn't mention the hygrometer, but one of the reviewers did.   Good price for an average case, but if you have to return it, you'll be out $24

  This case is functional. It has nice zipper tabs, locking feature, a long compartment for music, and inner compartments for accessories. It looks fairly nice on the outside, and the interior is burgundy velour. It has a comfortable handle, and good hardware for holding bows.The interior is not as cushioned or roomy as most cases we've seen, though, and it's a tight fit for a 4/4 violin and shoulder rest.But the deal-breaker for us was that my daughter's school music folder is 9 1/2 inches wide, and it won't fit in the music compartment. If the case were 1/2 inch taller, the folder might have fit.   This case is an amazing value for the dollar. This is a pretty close copy of the first edition $$$$ Musafia Aeternum case. No, the materials are not as nice as the Musafia; It's not Italian silk and the "wood" accents are fake (looks pretty good though). However the upholstery materials are nice and the "fit and finish" is superior for the price. High quality plywood construction, compact size and relatively low weight. I have seen many, many inexpensive and expensive violin cases and this one looks great despite it's low price. I own a Musafia "Master Series" case and I never use it because it is to heavy and bulky. This is a nice compromise.   This case is as advertised. Absolutely beautiful. It holds the violin REALLY securely (a bit more than I expected). Seriously, the violin is not moving at all. I'm sure it will loosen up a little as it gets broken in. It is a lot lighter than my old case. It's also a bit narrower so it won't really hold original sheet music - if you expect to zip up the outer pocket. The subway handle is great, and it has a lot of connection points so that the case's exterior won't wear quickly. I live in a very dry climate, so I also purchased a Bobelock Humidistat (with bracket)for something like $11 and installed it where the case holds the neck of the violin. It fits perfectly there. The interior storage is more than adequate. There is no wasted space. All of my accessories fit with room to spare. The key for the lock is a little tricky at first, but it works fine once you get the hang of it.   I've been playing violin for a long time, and have never given much thought to my case before buying this item. Now, I'm sorry that I didn't buy this years ago! The interior is plush and beautiful with several small storage places; I can fit my KUN shoulder rest, rosin, a pencil and extra eraser, extra strings, and my wipe-down rag with ease. The compartment on the outside is large enough to hold several thin books at the same time, so you don't have to worry about remembering your music when you go out; it's already in your case.   Adequate violin case

  Pros: Inexpensive. Lightweight. Includes shoulder strap and thick cloth to cover violin. Has 2 large compartments (1 with a covering flap, the other one open) that can easily hold shoulder rest, strings and rosin. Item shipped and received quickly.Cons: Tight fit. Suspension padding is not very soft and doesn't have much of a "cushy" feel.I bought this case after reading reviews on several Bellafina cases. I wasn't looking for anything too fancy - I just wanted a new violin case to replace the old tattered one that holds the violin I seldom play anymore. My main requirements for a case included oblong (i.e. rectangular) shape, suspension padding, and able to accommodate 2 bows & shoulder rest.   Very good, if not perfect, violin case

  I purchased my BAM case a few months ago and am very pleased. There are many good qualities, but there are a few drawbacks.First, the quality of the case is exceptional. Every part of the construction is solid, much more so than my last case (Negri). The interior is a semi-rigid foam covered in a velvety material. It has a little bit of give to it, even a little soft you might say.Speaking of the interior, BAM has made a wise choice to put the accessory pouch at the bottom of the case rather than the top. This means that the frogs of the bows won't come crashing down on the lower bought of the instrument when you close the case. And it isn't a compartment either, but a removable, zippered pouch. I didn't think that I would have liked it so much, but it is actually very convenient.There is room in the top of the case near the scroll of the instrument for a shoulder rest.   This is a beautiful case. Very well made. Except for the strap that holds the lid up; it doesn't do its job. The only way to keep the case open is to stand it up vertically. Since the case is beautifully conformed to my violin, along with the Velcro strap, it's a decent fix. I have contacted Bam for an explanation.   Good case

  This is a great case. It fits the violin perfectly and protects the violin very well. It is a bit heavy but I have no problem with it..it's a good work out. Some of the other reviews said that the strap that holds the lid up doesn't work very well and knowing this when I got the case I stretched the lid a little farther than the strap will allow and it was just fine but before I did that the lid slammed shut and didn't stay open. But it was a easy fix. Like the other review I also have a bonmusica shoulder rest and it fits perfectly in the case unlike my old case where I had to carry my shoulder rest. When I got the case it arrived In a amazon box with no dents, rips, ect. And was rapped nicely in bubble rap the only thing wrong that I have found with this case is that in the description it said it had silver interior and mine came with a black interior. Some of the other reviews said that the strap that holds the lid up doesn't work very well and knowing this when I got the case I stretched the lid a little farther than the strap will allow and it was just fine but before I did that the lid slammed shut and didn't stay open. But it was a easy fix. Like the other review I also have a bonmusica shoulder rest and it fits perfectly in the case unlike my old case where I had to carry my shoulder rest. When I got the case it arrived In a amazon box with no dents, rips, ect. And was rapped nicely in bubble rap the only thing wrong that I have found with this case is that in the description it said it had silver interior and mine came with a black interior.   Some standards met for a great price.

  I purchased this case to hold my new at home/concert violin, which it will just sit in my room, planning to use my more durable school violin case to transport it for concerts. I second guessed my plans when I took it out of the box, it looked rather nice. I was disappointed to see no metal clasp-only zippers, but was glad to see a neck strap and cover cloth. The only downside is, there is no padding for the base of the violin, so I, for a while at least, will use the cover cloth as padding and use an alternative piece of cloth as the actual cover cloth. The interior pocket is nice, it also has a zip pocket on the outside, and I am pretty sure I can fit my Wolf shoulder rest by the scroll of the violin. Overall, for $20, it is a great case.   I purchased this case for my campfire violin.
